Speed workshops
Many contacts within a short time can be established by exhibitors as well as architects in the so-called speed-workshops organized several times a day. Their purpose is to discuss in a presentation of products and materials so the architect gets information on the possibilities and the limitations and the company learns more about the wishes of the architect. The speed-workshops will take place at the stands of the exhibitors.
Guided tours for architects
In 2010 the exhibition will be structured according to the following keynote themes: Office, Hotel, Shop and Education / Training / Healthcare. This will help visitors to find what interests them most among the wealth of exhibits. Furthermore, architects and interior designers will benefit from the introduction of regular guided tours for architects dedicated to these keynote themes.
Live panel contractworld.award
Four special awards will be presented this year exclusively to architects aged under forty who have distinguished themselves through their avant-garde projects. Following an official session of a panel of experts, the judges will draw up a shortlist of New Generation stars for each of the keynote categories. The final selection of the winners will be based on the presentations made by the short-listed candidates in front of a "live panel" during contractworld.congress.
contractworld.nights
The new contractworld.nights will ensure that the contractworld.city will be full of life also after the lectures and the workshops. Every evening, there will be parties starting at 6 p.m. where the awarding of the prizes in the special category "New Generation" will of course be celebrated.
