Prof. Tobias Wulf, wulf & partner, freie Architekten BDA, Stuttgart, Germany

Prof. Tobias Wulf has run his own architectural practice in Stuttgart since 1987. The partnership wulf & partner, freie Architekten BDA was established in 1996, when Kai Bierich and Alexander Vohl came on board. The three partners subsequently set up the office wulf & ass. Architekten GmbH in 2000.

The office works on large-scale projects throughout Germany, principally in the public sector, and has a long track record of successful involvement with every stage of the project. Nearly every structure built by the practice has been singled out by the Association of German Architects as an example of excellence. At the time of writing wulf & partner employs a staff of 95. Principal areas of specialization are public buildings and scientific laboratories, as well as commercial premises for international companies and large-scale projects.

Current projects:

  • Neue Messe (exhibition centre) Stuttgart (1999 to 2007)
  • General refurbishment and extension of the Deutschhaus Gymnasium (grammar school) in Würzburg (completion in 2006/2007)
