Rob Wagemans, concrete architectural associates bv, Amsterdam/Netherlands

Rob Wagemans, born in 1973, is head of the interior design office "concrete architectural associates". He studied at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and Utrecht and completed his studies with a Master of Architecture degree focusing on interior design.

"Concrete architectural associates" was founded in 1997 by Rob Wagemans, Gilian Schrofer and Erik van Dillen and is made up of three divisions: concrete architectural associates, concrete reinforced and the studio models+monsters.

Concrete has around 30 people on its team: interior designers, product and communication designers, graphic designers and architects. Working in interdisciplinary teams, they collaborate with some of the most high-profile architectural practices on a wide range of international projects, developing interior design concepts and corporate identities for these partners. They are responsible for many designs that are on the market today. In addition to working on many restaurants, hotels and shops, they also specialize in exhibition design. One recent example is the new Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart, realized in collaboration with UNStudio.
