Prof. Hrvoje Njiric, born in 1960, studied architecture from 1979 to 1986 at the University of Zagreb and in 1990 founded the architectural office "njiric+njiric arhitekti" with Helena Njiric in Graz and Zagreb. He has run the practice on his own since 2001.
After periods as visiting professor at leading European universities and the Southeast University in Nanjing, Hrvoje Njiric served as Dean and Professor of Construction Theory and Housing at the Technical University of Graz from 2001 to 2005. In 2005 he was also visiting professor at the College of Architecture in Aarhus, and at the University of Trieste in 2006. In 2007 he began lecturing in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Split.
Prof. Hrvoje Njiric has been a jury member for numerous architectural competitions in Croatia, Austria, Spain, Slovenia and Germany.
