The winners were announced during the official prize-giving ceremony on 13 January 2007. 
The jury broke with tradition by not just selecting the winning entries, but also drawing up a shortlist of the best nine entries from each category (as a pdf-download in the right column of this page).
Prof. Laurids Ortner, one of the two jury chairpersons: "In this way all participants will be able to see just how close the competition was, and that in terms of quality there was not much to choose between them - all were top class."
